Job Description:
As an Unarmed Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our premises, ensuring the safety and security of our property and personnel. Your responsibilities will require a high level of vigilance and integrity, as well as a friendly demeanor towards office staff and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols around the property to ensure it is secure.
- Monitor the premises for any irregularities, which includes but is not limited to: suspicious behavior, fire hazards, and security breaches.
- Manage entrance security, welcoming office staff warmly and ensuring that all visitors adhere to security protocols.
- Receive deliveries efficiently, verifying documentation and coordinating with office staff as necessary.
- Maintain clear and detailed logs of security-related incidents.
- Report any security incidents or hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Provide a visible presence that deters safety threats and reassures office staff.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in security services is preferred but not required.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks such as standing for long hours and patrolling the property.
- Ability to handle typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively.
